To take into account

Determining the correct size

Before ordering your sliding glass wall, carefully consider the size you need. To determine the width, measure the opening where the wall will be installed at three points: the top, the middle, and the bottom. Record the smallest of the three measurements. Posts or walls aren't always perfectly straight, so using the smallest measurement will ensure the wall fits. The width of the glass depends on the width of the opening:

Glass sliding walls up to 2 meters

  • 2 panels with a glass width of 900 mm for an opening up to 1780 mm (overlap of 20 mm)
  • 2 panels with a glass width of 980 mm for an opening up to 1940 mm (overlap of 20 mm)
  • 2 panels with a glass width of 1030 mm for an opening up to 2040 mm (overlap of 20 mm)

To determine the required height, we look at the working height. This is the measurement of the complete system, measured from the bottom of the rail to the top of the top guide. The glass panels of the sliding glass wall are always 100 millimeters shorter than the working height. The working height includes a 30-millimeter margin for installation.
